What's been Happening this Month...

After many months of traveling throughout the States and reporting to churches on our furlough, we are finally back home in Thailand. We had all been homesick and ready to end our deputation travels after over 100 appointments and almost 40,000 miles, but I didn’t realize how much we all missed our home in Thailand until we got back. It was good to see familiar faces and get back to work in the churches here. It took a few weeks to get everything back to normal, once we got home. Our first day back was interesting… The radiator blew out in my Ranger on the way out of the airport, and Bro. Tim Sims towed us back home with his truck. When we got to our house, there was a power outage in the village, so we spent the night with the Sims. The next day the power was back on, but we had no water. The pipes had been clogged with leaves falling into our reservoir. Slowly, I’ve been plugging away at fixing odds and ends and getting our lives back into working order. The churches in Udon & Khon Kaen are doing great. We will be traveling to Chiang Mai to finish up the foundation paperwork for our new visas next month. We are working on the office for the foundation at the Udon church, and will be moving the ICP translation ministry and English classes there. I am very excited about our goals and prospects for the future of the ministry here in Thailand. Please pray for us as we continue our endeavor to reach the lost of this land for the Lord.
